Just bought a tiger avon bike engined race car which I'm coverting to zetec race spec. Need to alter the chassis, some of the rails need removing and some need adding. Question is which ones. I've looked at the tiger book and have a reasonable idea. Can some one answer this question:

Is the zetec avon chassis different to a pinto chassis?

To assist could some one send me a photo looking down on the engine bay (minus engine) of an avon zetec chassis. Send to griffiths.steve@virgin.net Thanks Steve

pinto and zetec should be same chassie

click on autos then avon then the middle of the three choices,there are some realy good pics of the chassis before they fit the zetec

Can confirm that Tiger only do one Avon chassis so it will be the same for both Zetec and Pinto, only difference will be the engine mounts.

it is the same chassis. There is 3 engine mounting plates: on the right is the same, on the left, one is for pinto and the other is for zetec.
