Try doing a search in the avon section for bodywork
Welcome to your new home on the net

i have removed the timing cover as i can rememder it was in the way as it gives you a about a inch lower for the bonnet to fit hope it works....
I may be wrong, but I think there are alternative, thinner, rubber mounts available (maybe Capri?) for the pinto which will help lower the engine.
Ask on the main Tiger forum at http://www.tigerownersclub.co.uk and you should get the answers you're looking for.

How much body did you cut back from around the rear suspension mounts. Ive resited so far have got the body resting on but its 15mm to far forward.
Not sure if this is going to cause a problem with the nose cone.
hi ian i was looking at you pics and i was looking at your fuel tank it look low is it a tiger tank if it is then i think it is to low(for me anyway) .when you fit the body if not done already as the body fits on the lip around the back edge you will se it from the rear of the car.
My pinto is fitted using thinner rubbers. I made the engine mounts as per the Tiger book. The engine is at the height specified in the BOOK. The bonnet clears the cam pulley by 10mm. There is a picture in my archive showing the engine fitted. HTH
