My zetec works (I used mondeo ECU). Another setep forward and 3 back.
I am happy for the engine but today I try my new voyager seats (very nice) and I realized that I can not seat inside the car and push sierra pedal!(I have already fit master cilinder and brakes works) I have to cut my legs or drive without seats or install floor pedal!
In the deceptive book HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN TIGER AVON they write: As an alternative to Sierra pedals you can use aftermarket pedals in pendant or organ. These pedals usually give more room for the TALLER driver.
Well this is not correct they should write if you are tall more than 160 cm you MUST use aftermarket pedal.
P.s: Happy new year friends!

Hey Rudy,

You must be making some real progress if you have your engine running. You will need to post some pictures.

I have fitted floor mounted pedals in place of the sierra ones. Hope to fit some high back seats at some point, but I still think I might run into some leg room problems...

Ciao Adrian,
I will put some foto in archive.
Where is best place to buy floor pedal?
If I use floor pedal , can I use cable on clutch or have to use idraulic" comand"?
There is incredible leg room difference from to be seated with or without seats or from two different type of seats.

I bought my floor pedals from http://www.nfauto.co.uk/ Although I cant see them for sale anymore. There were a few more companies selling the same pedals. I'll try and post a picture.

I used a clutch cable rather than hydraulic, but I think the pedals can be ordered for cable or hydraulic.

It was a fair bit of work to get them to fit and I had to cut them to make them fit the Tiger frame. You also need to drill a 13mm hole through one of the box sections. I found some instructions from Quantum sports cars that described how to do it and what clutch cable you need. Again I will try and find these again.

I have since cut off all the extra metalwork from the tiger frame used to mount the sierra pedals

Rudy, what about cutting your Sierra pedals, bending them back and then rewelding them? I`ve had this done to my Sierra pedals and it`s given me an extra 2-3inches of leg room. I`m 6ft3 too. A cheaper alternative for now, might be worth considering? I have photo`s available I can e-mail you if it helps

I have the sierra pedals fitted and can (just) fit with seats on runners..... I'm 6'3"....

I tried cutting and shutting the sierra pedals but they looked an arse so I cut them off at about 3" and welded in a length of 25mm square tube. pics are on my website somewhere....

I can't read the tread with that avatar on the side daveFJ, bloody fantastic

i did the same with my pedals. By making a series of v cuts, you can straighten the pedal drastically. you can also adjust the pedal spacing by cuting and bending the pedal in the other plane. I think there are pics in my archive. HTH

Thankyou at all.
I will do the modification within 1 or two week and I will let you know.
