viper, had a look in your archive at your new front bones
i cant seem to work out quite how they work as the photo seems to show that both sides are held in place by bolts. Or have i missed the point
completely?
Tim
BTW from the photos you are definately making a silk purse from a sows ear ( i looked at a tiger avon but decided not to)
both sides are held by bolts...
the point of the bolts is i can remove spacers from one side of the block and put them in the other side so moving the block (top joint) backwards or
forwards to adjust castor..
does that explain things or am i being as clear as mud??
crystal clear now i reread your original post.
i mis read the original post thinking it would allow up down, left right and up-down adjustment as well (very technical terms those)
Viper - Is it just the picture or are your bottom bones longer than Tigers?
yes they are longer..

Cheers james, its not a difficult job to do and does look a little bulky and is a bit heavier but does make adjustment quick and easy.
Viper,
Is the bit that the BJ screws into actually just a square block with a tapped hole or something else?
Thanks,
James
so whats the reasoning behind longer rear wish bones?
James
That's exactly what it is. i offset the hole to give me a little more adjustment should i need it.
protofj,
my rear wishbones are not longer than Tigers.
sorry - meant bottom ones...
I have made the front almost as wide as the back, as Tiger has an escort (approx) width front and Sierra rear, i didn't like the way it looked so i have made it look the way i want
sounds good - look forward to seeing pics of the completed car...
me too
