Hi mate,
Could someone give me a dimensions of 2L zetec engine -position relation to a specific points of a chassis.Also the dimensions of engine brackets.(Mr. Jim describe these dimensions for pinto engine in his book)

just place it central and as far back as possible

Just been out to the shed, I mean workshop and checked the dims on my Avon.

The distance from the rail in front of the scuttle is 220mm and the engine is positioned central in the engine bay.

I would have liked to have positioned it slightly further forward in hindsight. The wife said she wont go in it unless there is a heater fitted. Now with the heated fitted it tight to get the water header tank fitted.

But generally I would agree that the further back the better.

Can't get a good dim. for the engine supports.

I already bought probshaft from tigerracing.this makes limitation about moving engine back or forward.I am planing to locate diff first then bolting propsaft on to it so this will determine the position of engine along the centerline,The problem is engine mounts dim.This will determine the location relation to sides and also height of the engine relation to bottom rail or ground.
