What's the correct name for it?

I'm searching for some M8 and M6 internally threaded bar for a little work project but can't seem to find any. (think M8/M6 nut but about 5cm deep)

What do I need to search for?

TIA

Thanks chaps, that is just the sort of thing I'm looking for.

I can go hunting locally now for off the shelf.

Cheers

Some times called a studding extender or studding coupler you can find them on ebay.

I buy M10 stainless steel ones for use as exhaust flange nuts and manifold nuts as I reckon they protect the exposed threads on the stud and much deeper hex gives you abetter chance of getting them off next time.
