I'm rather bored but tied to a computer with internet access.

Can you suggest a web site that is safe to read in public that is interesting?

You can't beat a bit of online video clip surfing... just the other day I got so bored that I started looking for the theme tunes to all my favourite 70's cartoons! Ahhh... the familiar whiff of nostalgia!

YouTube, etc. are your friends!

www.carbibles.com was quite a good read for me. Lots of good information.

If you like photography try
www.luminous-landscape.com
or www.kenrockwell.com

Both sites safe at work

Id have to say either wikipedia and research althose interesting engine components ie turbos etc, carbibles is good as mentioned above or my new favourite which is photography. just looking at some photos through forums like dslruser.co.uk got me hooked on another expensive hobby.

Start reading here linky then the world is your oyster.

Failing that http://www.failblog.org is quite funny

mattg8000 - 6/1/10 at 03:24 PM

Looking throu the results of the link I just posted, I found http://anonymouse.org/ works quite well - you can access the whole of the web and it appears to come from http://anonymouse.org/ (not youtube etc) so should circumvent the blocked sites protection
