Strange Avon?
Does anyone know anything about the following Avon? Below is a quote form Giles Cooper's web site:
"and then there was the most unique Tiger I have ever seen, owned by Bill Sayer it consists of an Avon chassis mated to the back end of a Mk1
Toyota MR2, this bizarre creation even goes so far as to have the instrument panel and centre console from the donor car. A truly strange machine as
can be seen in the pictures below."

Yeah,
Just look at those great flash lines and perfectly fitting bonnet!
No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

It was at Stoneleigh this year
If you look at the pictures you'll see the rear bulkhead, scuttle (and presumably footwell) have all been moved forward to cater for the engine
in the rear. Makes the proportions all a bit odd !!
Give the builder a little credit though .. He started with a chassis, an engine, an angle grinder, a welder and ... erm .. lots of enthusiams ..
Drive fast, don't look back!
