Avons at Stoneleigh

Any of you chaps noticed the absolute multi- chudes of Avons at Stoneleigh................... well I saw ........ONE on Sunday and that was it All weekend! So where are all the rest that Jim Dudley tells me HE has sold?
can't all be unfinished kits in peoples garages can they?

Mine's still in my garage though - just having to re-do the loom after my Tiger one incurred "problems"...

I saw 3:

orange- Tiger stand
Yellow- Tiger owners club
Red mr2- Tiger owners club.

The steering wheel was on the wee in them all.

There were several Tiger's there on sunday afternoon....must have been about 30 odd....

I didnt see any Avons except the orange one on the stand and I went both days. I saw one Stuart Taylor. I met one guy on the Tiger stand who had just started building an Avon and he was from Coventry aswell !

There was one finished Yellow Avon in the Tiger owners area.

Finish was - interesting...

the wooden floor panels and black carpet tape to finish the cockpit sides were - different!

It seemed to be a pretty strict use of the Avon kit with little deviation.

Still good to see one on the road as it were

Yeah, it sounds 'neat' !

I cant believe I missed it then, I must have gone past the Tiger area a dozen times aswell !

I was impressed by the car control of the Comma Motorsport Caterham display dirvers.
