Avon engine mounts
Do Tiger supply 2 different thickness rubber pinto engine mounts for the Avon simply to set the engine at an angle to allow side draught carbs to
clear the top chassis rail ...... or is there a more technical reason

Is it on a pinto? I didn't build mine but it did have two different height mounts. I recently levelled them to both be the higher size.

yes its a Pinto, ive now fitted bike carbs which dont and wouldnt foul the chassis rail so i'm going to level the engine by fitting 2 same
thickness engine mounts...where did you get your replacement from or do you want to get rid of the one youve replaced ???

When I fitted my Pinto I dont remember the rubber mounts being different sizes!
Mine sits on an angle though, I thought it was the steel mounts that made the difference?

your right the mounts are different! Had to have ny engine out to replace clutch and found the mounts were different I was probably lucky I got them
the right way round for the carb fitment over the top rail!

yup the steel mounts are different sizes..
I bought a thinner rubber mount for one side to make the engine sit nice and level
