I used a combination of the following:

1. The 'Avon book'
2. Standard wiring colours, e.g. green for switched live, purple permanent live, etc.
3. The diagram below that I had found previously on the web

If you have any questions, let me know and I will try and help.

Why do people not use the standard hazard switch on the column?

Thanks DJT
I got 90% of it sorted, theres just a few im not sure on, i will check the diagram you supplied, below are the wires i am not sure about

Under the battery tray;
1 branch of wires;
black,
green / blue,
green / light green all have female bullet connectors (is this for the heater box maybe?)

Under Dash / Top of battery tray
blue / red,
red,
black,
white all into a 4 pin (female) plug

Engine bay
black,
black / green both with spades fitted

purple,
purple,
black/red bare wires (this could be radiator fan but why 3 wires?)

white/green into a spade (there are 2 of these together)

blue/green into a spade

And of course the stalk wires, i found some diagrams on here but none match the colours of my wires.

any help would be appreciated
