No longer to be

I know Ive only been on here a while and made relatively few posts but I just thought Id let those people who I have pestered for info, visited and chatted to etc that I wont actually be building an Avon afterall now, a part built, rolling Rush with bodywork attached now sits in my garage ready for me to complete/bodge together . It came up on ebay and it was too good a bargain to let go by, it cost me the same as a comprehensive Avon starter kit less the VAT ! for basically the same amount/sort of stuff, and its all kind of assembled hopefully be on the road ready to drive to Le Mans next year ! woohoo !

Anyway, thanks again

James

just because you have a Rush doesn't mean you have to stop using the forum. It would be good to know how you get on with the build to see if it is easier or more difficult than the rest

You don't have to leave us! We'll still talk to you, even if you've joined the upper classes... - hell, we've even allowed Caterham and Westfield owners on here!

I think that you'll find the Rush just a little bit better made than the Avon...

rgds,

David

not going anywhere !

Not gonna leave ! I will need a loads of help sorting it out ! Im sure there will be quite a lot of similar problems between the two kits, I have bypassed the awkward bodywork bit, main big stuff yet to do are the engine install and electrics. Im just trying to get myself organised and decide what I should do first, since buying it all Ive done is sat in it and made car noises...does this phase pass ?
