Pinto dizzy
My tiger loom does not seem to have the connections for the dizzy or ecu. I've identified the coil, temp, oil, fan, horn, lights etc....... and
all I've got left is 2 white/green stripe wires. Needless to say, the book doesn't even mention it ! I've got a standard dizzy with
vacuum advance plus have been given one without vacuum advance. Help.......

I spent an interesting evening yesterday with my new Tiger loom laid out on the living room floor, trying to identify all the connections and label
them... I am about halfway through, so that's this evening taken care of too
I have been using a file that I got off the Yahoo tiger group that shows all the wire colours. It's been very accurate so far however I think
there may be a couple of differences in the area you are talking about.
IIRC the dizzy connections are on the part of the sierra engine loom that you need to splice into the Tiger loom
I will email the file too you
Hope it helps
---- Just to badger you again, we want to see more piccies (or do you have a website?)
Cheers

looms and dizzy's
thanks for the help !It is frustrating when a simple task is held up through lack of info. I'm no stanger to electrical systems, I used to work
at STC making submarine telecomm cables for the atlantic etc, but when you don't have all the info you do feel a bit of an arse !!!
I don't have a web site, but do have quite a few pics of the build so far.

RE: Loom
I managed to lable mine up too thanks to the help of the yahoo group file. Im a bit concerned about this splicing into the sierra loom thingy. Whats
that all about?
Im hoping to get the engine in, hook up the loom, connect it to the column and then add the wiring from a lumenition thingy and then hey presto it
works, easy as that.
Am i slightly mistaken as usual. Didnt mention that in the book, funny that.

Oh woh is me !
I used the file from the yahoo group last night to label up all the light connection points and a few other bits - no probs!
this evening I return to the rest of the task and find that nothig else matches ??
I can match the connectors for the light/4way/heater switches. but none of the other wires for instruments / indicator switches etc match in anyway?
I also have 3 spare wires where I think the rad temp switch should be that don't match
Driving me nuts trying to work this lot
out...:mad
