Seats
Hi all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here nice to see this site is still going. Can’t believe my Avon is 11 years old now, and still going
strong, I’ve just put a catalytic converter on it and it’s passed its MOT
Video here
Anyway, I’ve just stuck a massive rip in the seat, and I was wondering where people had sourced seats with a headrest that will fit in an Avon. I know
tiger do them but I would like other ideas, any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.

Tut tut - where was your PPE? Sandals and angle grinder lol
I've got GRP seats in mine which are more comfortable than they look.

Yeah, I thought Q plate didn’t need a cat either, and I’ve never had one for the last 11 years but I went to 3 different garages and they all agreed
that they changed the rules last year. My usual garage closed down as they’re turning it into a housing estate so I had to find somewhere new to go.
There was a really long post on PistonHeads about two years ago about proposed changes where they were trying to bring in catalytic converter is for
kit cars but I’m not sure if it went anywhere or if it was dropped.
neilp1 Where did you get your seats and how much were they?
