Front Tunnel Tubes
Hi All
Just before i weld up the front tunnel tubes and cut away the lower rail, can somebody please measure the distance from the side rails.
In the book these are different lengths, is this correct or a print error?
One side is 252-3mm and the other is 275mm, this is how i have done mine but i would like to know if it's correct before i weld them in for
good.
Regards
Nik

If I understand you right. I can confirm that the two footwells are different sizes. This is because the engine and gearbox is slightly offcentre.

Mine's buried in the garage so can't get to it to easure, but if you're fitting a Pinto, the alternator will probably hit the front
brake pipe that goes down the rear front suspension bar.

Glad to here that the footwells are different, sounds like it's not a print error then.
Will be running a 2lt zetec if that helps.
It's not my Chassis i used the picture as it shows the tunnel tubes.

I will drop you a U2U. Are you far from there?

Just out of curiosity,
which digits of the Tiger vin plate no. denote the chassis number?
I presume yours is the 100th produced by Tiger in total, and not the 100th Avon chassis!
Andy.
