probably a stupid question?... Tiger avon wireing loom

Looking at the tiger wiring diagrams, which is left and which is right with respect to the car? i.e. is the left front light from the perspective of looking at the car from the front, or fron the perspective of sitting in the car? Im stuck, does the main loom go round the drivers side of the engine bay or passenger side?

If you're using a Pinto, the main loom needs to go round the passenger side of the engine bay.

Don't think it really maters which side as it's all too long anyway, but I'd go the other side from the exhaust.

L/H will be nearside (passenger side) and R/H will be offside (driver side).

HTH,

Andy.

thanks guys. Had an attempt at putting round the drivers side of engine bay tonight. Think it will have to go round the passenger side above the exhaust manifold....

Lefts and rights are always in relation to the drivers seating position. ie sitting in car facing the front, LH is nearside, RH is offside.

wiring

hello shades. I went from Opel manta to Pinto and had similar questions. On the engine, which side has alternator, starter, temp sender etc.? The loom is long enough to route down either side of the engine bay. The front lights branch is very long anyway. I laid mine out and tied it in place with string first.

"just like that !"
