Rollbar....

Got Avon rrollbar today - rear half of race cage. Struggling to fit it, as the backstays are tight against the chassis leaving no room for the bracket, and the holes in the backstay are lower than the holes in the bracket.

Is this how it should be? Would appreciate thoughts...
Thanks Rescued attachment rollbar2.jpg

Sounds about right for Tiger!

Sorry, never fitted a race cage - is the bracket already mounted to the chassis?

What's the hole in the back stay for?

aren't the back stays springy enough to pull out a bit to clear the chassis?

Is there a U bracket that you have to bolt to the plate on the chassis and the back stay sits inside this u bracket and a bolt goes throught the u bracket and crush tube in the cage?

If so, like blakep82 said, there should be some springyness in the back stays.

Yes there is. But there isn't space for the bracket between the rollbar and the chassis sides
