13'' wheels on an avon
Does anyone know if you can get 13'' wheels to fit an avon. I'know they'll fit on the front as i tried some once but they
were tight on the rear( sierra 4x4 lsd disc & calipers) and as my mate had just spent a lot of money on them i didn't want to scratch them.
But thinking back i'm not sure if some small modification could be done to make them fit.
My reason is i now have a mate who races formula ford and will willingly give me his old tyres for my trackdays, so cheap grippy tyres for free if i
can find some 13'' wheels.
Thanks for any help
Paul

IIRC (but it was a long time ago) - they foul on the rear Tiger uprights.

As Pat says, I think 13" wheels will foul the rear uprights.
Might be worth asking on the 'Racing' section of http://www.tigerownersclub.co.uk as there are a couple of members who race Avons and
presumably would know if 13" wheels can be made to fit etc.

Adam Wilkins does use 13`s on his racer, he told me they went straight on but I couldn`t get them to fit on mine!
I`ve spoken to another guy with an Avon on 13`s and he said he had to !!!machine!!! some off the wheel and fit spacers to get them on!
