WTD: demister unit

i am looking for a demister unit. i have seen some on CBS. what else is there on the market or has someone got one going spare. heater or demister wold be good as longs they cheap and in working order....

I'd recommend fitting a proper (ie coolant heated) demister. The electric ones tend to be pretty pants, which when you consider how much energy a car gives off in waste heat is easy to understand....

The small demist units from the likes of CBS are okay (for SVA) if you have two. The bigger units are better but they sure make your alternator work hard..... It makes more sense to fit something which just uses a small amount of the waste heat you'ld otherwise be getting rid of via the radiator....

yes I agree .
I used vw polo mk2 unit, it works weel it is quit small , and you can find it ceap.
