DVLA Registration Inspection

I had my registration inspection today, turned up with the car on a trailer and the DVLA man checked the chassis number and engine number, had a chat and that was it. All in all it took about 8 minutes. Just waiting for my tax disk and registration doc in the post.

i went to portsmouth dvla on thursday, and paid the fees, they inspect the cars at botley vosa station as health and safety won't let them do it on their site???? anyway they gave me an appointment for the following wednesday so 6 days later.... the guy looked at the engine and chassis number and that was it.... just waiting for the postman with the tax disk and documents to get the numberplate..... if u ask me its a load of bollocks.... vosa already check the numbers so why can't they talk to the dvla?
