steering rack

i'm considering upgrading to a quick rack for my avon, is it an escort mk2 i need and is rally design the best place to get one from? Also will the arms be to short as i seem to remember something about them being extended from tiger, if so is it possible to swop them, sorry to seem a bit thick but tbh i just bolted it on when i built the car and thought no more about it
Thanks in advance Paul

Hi paul i brought a standard rack MK2 escort (you are correct)rack from rally design it was the cheepest i could find good quality though, the arms are shorter as tiger get them extended by someone its not an easy job i am led to believe but i didnt want to pay tigers price.I am waiting (that reminds me i need to give him a ring)to hear back from a guy i found who said he may be able to get made some track rods that have a longer shaft for £40 a pair rather than making up some extenders.hope this is of some help.
