Tiger warning lights

Guys,

I have just been working on my Avon wiring and found that when I switch the lights on all the warining lights for the fan and fog lights come on. Its wired as if they are lamps whcih come on in the dark so you can see them. This is what the wiring diagram shows.

I thought the purpose of the lamps on the switches was to indicate the particular item was switched on.

To solve the problem I have taken a feed from the switched live on each switch to bulb so the lamp now lights when that item is switched on.

One other thing the indicator side repeaters. I was going to strap them across the front indicators but read on the forum you should wire them to the dash indicator warning lights. Are both or ok or does it matter.

Thanks

Ian

The Tiger switches are as you say wired to light up when the lights are switched on although I did wire the fog to light up as you have.
As far as the repeaters go wire them to either, I did mine to the dash warning lights as the repeaters were mounted on the side of the scuttle, just make sure that they can be seen from the required angles.
