You're very welcome... I hadn't really looked a it until you mentioned it - t'is quite pretty!
PS - The hill range peaking out through the clouds is the Lammermuir's (if anyone's interested!).
I recognise that view , very nice Scott !

Not particularly handy when you're bumping around the clouds in a helicopter all day!
Mind you, I suppose it's all a case of perspective... it doesn't seem 'real' at those heights.
The thing I find bizarre is that I'm pretty certain that I could jump out of a plane for a free-fall, but I couldn't do a bungee-jump
(going up to the platform would freak me out)!

It is about perspective...
ie hovering close enough to a really high object you could probably jump onto, however if you miss you become a blancmange.
Myself and the wife did some snorkeling in the Red sea a few years ago, her indoors was freaked out lying/floating on her front with 5' of water
over the reef with a 150' vertical drop down the reef face to the sea floor, very odd.
I could do a freefall, but never a bunjee .
Its a brain chemical thing

Passed a snow plough and a farmer in his tractor.

Interesting tower....
Did you know the Kerrs (Reivers) used to build there tower stairwells with a anti clockwise twist, as a lot of them were left (Kerr Handed) handed.
Pretty hard fighting upostairs with a sword in your right hand when your fighting arm is against the wall...
Useless trivia prompted by seeing the steps up the tower.
And relax
