Tiger wanted
Hi,
I am looking to buy a tiger avon or r6 to race in the tiger racing series next season but not having much luck. Perfect car will have a 2ltr blacktop
zetec running on twin 45's if possible but anything will be considered. Cost as always will be an issue.
Any response or recommendations appreciated.
Cheers

Why a bloody Tiger?
There's much much better for the money.

Pat, i know what you are saying but i did a couple of races in the series this season and the banter is great. Also, the single make series makes the
racing nice and close.

Why Tiger
For those that ask why Tiger?
Firstly, the Avon is one of the best bang for buck 7's around.
I know, I raced one for three years.
I have owned a Tiger Cub, Raced an Avon and now I race an R6.
Why race with Tiger?.........Simple.
The series is set up and run for anyone whos owns any of Tigers 7 type cars.
It also puts a lot of effort into helping out racers who have either dinged their cars or just need general help.
This year we have had on the grid a Tiger Cat, Super 6, Avon, R6 and RS6. So just the Cub missing from that list.
As Ryan has said, the Tiger paddock is great fun and hugely supportive of each other.
Few manufacturers run their own championship/series/challenge of whatever it is called.
Caterham, Ginetta and Westfield to an extent.
Though, in eight meetings this year Westfield have put out grids of....
17, 12, 16, 15, 15, 14, 11 and 11, these numbers fail to reach the MSA criterea for Championship stus.
Tiger on the other hand are in no rush for MSA National Championship status, although it has been offered.
Tiger now have 26 registered racers with others still looking for cars for 2009.
Should you pitch up in a Tiger at Tigers workshop on a saturday, you will get a brew and your questions answered and it is not unusal for Tiger staff
to have a quick tweek of you car FOC, providing you make the tea.
So, thats why.
