I can recommend the cable hoist and the bench drill. Both good value. The hoist has proven invaluable for dropping the enging in and out unaided (will handle up to 250Kg if I recall).

The drill a local Netto(sunderland) still have them £25.00.

I'm after one of those drills, but cannot get to aldi until this thursday, will it still be there and for the same price??

The cable hoist is the same as the one Netto had 2 weeks ago for £39.99 albeit with different branding.

Those are the smaller chuck and 350 watt motor and don't have as many speed adjustments as the Aldi one. The spindle travel is less as well.
