Croft trackday yesterday
Had a great day at Croft yesterday. We were expecting to get wet, as the forecast for days, had been predicting light rain, heavy rain, showers etc
etc... The track was dry all day!!
There was some potent machinery booked in, Ultima, Juno, XBow, Audi RS4, Noble, as well as the usual Evos, Scoobs, M3s and of course a smattering
of kit cars.
The Civic performed excellently throughout the day, taking a good few of the above "supercars" by surprise.
Pete will get some video up in the next day or so.. in the meantime, a few pics:
A video has been uploaded HERE
I do know what the last blue car is, but does anyone else recognise it?

I'm sure that Pic 5 is my mates Sylva Phoenix.
You must have taken that picture early in the day because i got a text later saying that bits of his gearbox were littering the North Yorkshire
countryside.

Yes, I was standing by the chicane when it let go, bad luck..
Tit of the day award must go to the Audi RS4 driver. setting off from the pitlane, he did a very impressive nought to clervaux gravel trap in about
three seconds!

Give that man a cigar!
Apparently it races in the 2CV championship in Belgium, where they have a "modified" class. I believe it was powered by a BMW 850 engine.
Is there a BM bike boxer engine that size??
IT WAS A BEC!

RS4's seem to like that gravel trap, i was in the passenger seat of one that went in there last year.

I dont think he was planning a sequel Paul, he may do though..
I think he cruised unspectacularly past the Clio. He actually harrassed the Noble into submission too after a few laps, but unfortunately the video
tape ran out at the end of that clip.
