Anyone selling car bits on ebay at the minute?
Anyone selling bits and pieces from cars / bikes they've broken on ebay at the minute?
Having a quick look around there seems to be lots and lots of auctions for second hand parts finishing with no bids?
Is it that there are no buyers out there, or are the sellers being too optimistic with their starting prices?
Just wondering if ebay is a waste of time for getting rid of used parts now?
(Not too worried about scammers, paypal, feedback shite etc at the moment, just wondering about the state of the market)
Cheers
Mike

I have some bits from cars I've broken.
I usually have a BIN with best offers, but this weeks its free listing for auctions so I have started them at the min I would accept, but I think the
higher start puts people off. But I begrudge letting stuff go for 99p.
I've noticed it goes in fits and starts, sometimes my stuff sells well and quickly, sometimes I need to advertise it for a month. But its not a
business for me, just getting a bit of beer money from parts now and again.

I'll let you know tomorrow when my Stainless Repackable Silencer sells.
Blatant plug I know but there's only 1 bidder and a few watchers so don't let it slip away.
Cheers, Pewe
PS (Post Sale) Sold for £88 subject to payment. Seems a fair price but only three Bidders from 25 Watchers.
Now just need to sell a few more bits for the rolling-road session.

That's a plug
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I am still selling things from my Clio that i broke back in Easter. Loads of things got sold. People still ask for things that are already sold such
as Bucket seats, calipers, rear axle.
It all depends on the car and it's popularity.
Look for MX5 parts. 75% of all get's sold.

I buy and sell regularly on ebay and have found it always goes quiet over the summer months. Best time for picking up a bargain or two
