MNR Vortx RT+SOLD SOLD SOLD

The car is now SOLD, I have a deposit from a genuine buyer, Thank you for your payment Sean, see you next Saturday

After lots of pain in my pocket and stress I heard my engine had seized at Daytuner today. I have no more money now to fix or replace this engine. The car would literally be going for its IVA in 2 weeks after getting it back tomorrow.

This is the spec:

Broken ZZR 1400 engine 2006, could just need a crank im told or a full rebuild
Vortx RT+ with chassis plate fitted for IVA
BRAND NEW Fitted today Power Commander III
Accusump oil injection system
quad core ally radiator with speedflow fan
Speedflow connectors on oil system, braided oil hoses.
Setrab oil cooler
Trickshifter Brand New never fitted
DigiDash lite with both serial connectors
Quiafe reverse gearbox with lovely ally reverse gear selector
Full set of Savage ally switches for Side,Dip,Full beam, Large start button, Fan,Horn,Fog Light on centre of dash
indicators&hazards on the centre console
Cobra immobiliser
Quick release boss with either green/black wheel fitted or original OMP suede
Cobra black piped black roadster 7 seats on seat runners
TRS Green seat belts Brand new fitted a week ago
Gipro Digital Tre gear selector in blue
Freelander diff
Aerocatches fitted in bonnet locking ones
Raceleda alloy uprights front
drilled grooved discs all round
Raceleda 4 pot front calipers
Goodridge flexis fitted
Twin horns fitted super loud.
Paddle shift of course (I think they all are)
Bosch fuel pump
Side impact bars, removed for IVA but included
the colour and of course the wheels shown in the picture

I had to remove my sexy M3 green mirrors and the Cooper side indicators as these would not pas IVA, they can go with the car if you still fancy them, holes are ready to fit them, but are covered with vinyl stickers

this car was all ready for IVA with all the loan kit from MNR and would have been going there in 2 weeks, the car only requires an engine rebuild or another engine to get it through IVA, I would have to say this car is 99% finished being the engine issue as the 1%.

I simply have no more money to do this, and have to draw a line under it now and move on.

Make me a sensible offer please

Email me on plazmanian@hotmail.com for any particular pictures

Surely someone here must have a spare bike engine they can let you have?

Personally, i wouldnt sell it. You will regret it i promise. I know you said youve had loads of problems and the money would be handy etc etc, but you need a toy!!

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Hi mate,

I have no more funds, im bollxed for money to be honest, Peter = bottomless pot of money, im not in that position and sold my perfectly reliable 57 plate Buell to fund this, just want rid mate, cannot face taking it apart again, I guess it takes experts to build these things, I will stick to IT, and go back to a bike or maybe a trike, but this car will never see the road if I own it....

is a car engine option not available.
must be enough room to accomodate one, even if it is a 1600cc
cheaper than a Bike one too with luck!

Had similar problems to yourself, was back at MNR and eventually got there and got it on the road.

stick with it fella

I don't think you'll get 5k as it is. Considering options and 23k!!! Tell me your joking. You could have bought a proper car for that

If you look at the spec of the car, price parts he used all new, no s/hand sierra crap, yes you can see the cost.
A £1000 rebuild on engine (probably less)
would get a very fine car indeed.
Everthings set up for 1400zzr... the cradle, props, linkages etc, etc, so changing to another engine (especially CEC) would be a more costly and less powerful option.

Just to add the chassis is made for a BEC so a car engine would'nt fit (tunnel width being one problem)
anyway most car engines are far inferior to the mighty 1400zzr!

i used all new parts on my MNR - except for a recon R1 and i didn't spend anything like that. More like £13k

I suspect about £5-6k for it in current guise at best.
ONLY MY HUMBLE OPINION OF COURSE WHICH IS WORTH BUGGER ALL REALL
Sorry for you indeed.

Is that why this one went bang after the £1000 rebuild?

This engine has not had a rebuild...

The engine may need up to a £1000 spending on it to make it work again, or a Second Hand unit if you can find one is going to be maybe £1800 - £2200, a new lump coming in around £4000
