RX8 powered tiger made 248 bhp on the rollers.!
Some of you may remember my post about my cousins tiger avon that was getting treated to an RX8 engine and 6 speed box. Well it was dynoed today and
made 248 bhp at the fly which is up on the standard power by nearly 20 bhp, that was at 9200 rpm. Those of you that know these engines will know that
it is very difficult to get any more power than mazda did N/A, so we are pretty chuffed. Its being delivered back on tuesday and will have some
final tweaks before its first outing at a track day next saturday at woodbridge. its never been driven yet except onto the rollers (its not going
to be road legal)
I will get some pictures of it next week!.

It's a motec, not cheap but does everything you could Want and more. Best thing Is it will store 4 maps for completely different cars, so he
has one ecu and 4 looms, one is for a merc v12, the rx8 tiger, the 3 rotor rx7 and a vx220 with a rx7 engine. It doesn't care if it's
turbo or n/a and it can control the doors in the variable intakenof the rx8
