Made a new nose for my Indy
Hi,
after building the bodywork for my Indy from scratch a couple of years ago (see avatar), I decided to start all over and use my "lessons
learned" to start again from scratch. It is currently at the painter, and he sent me some pics that I thought I'd share with you guys.
I'm well chuffed.
New nose 3
New nose 4
New nose 1
New nose 2
Can't wait to see it with the final coat on!
Cheers,
Marcel

That looks fantastic! Did you make a mould from your old nose?

Looking good Marcel. Get the feeling you had a good look at a Donkervoort for inspiration. Can't blame you though, one of the best looking
nosecones out there if you ask me.

Hmm, yup, Donkervoort has been more than an inspiration. I made a mould for both the "old" nose, and the "new" nose. However,
maybe I should also consider taking a new mould from the new nose now the painter has done such a great job in getting it smooth.
The area between both openings are meant for the numberplate, so I can't make the holes bigger.
