oil pressure take off

Where is a good place to connect my mechanical oil pressure gauge on my cross flow? I have an electronic sender in the side of the block which gives me the low pressure light. I have an oil cooler rad and inline filter. Could I connect it here?

you can buy an adaptor with 2 take offs and use 1 for a gauge and one for the sender

Don't know but some fords seem to-be 1/4npt, rather than the 1/8npt standard, no telling the size without looking (but sure some on on here will know)..

How - I don't know on that engine, but I thought it normally considered most important to get your pressure gauge reading from the head galleries if possible, furthest place from the pump, most likely to give initial warning of oil issues?
