Cheapest way to individual Dials
A friend of mine has said he wishes to convert his car from a ford sierra instrument cluster to individual dials. But he wishes to do this as cheaply
as possible.
Has anyone got any advice for him please?
Where is the cheapest place to buy Individual after market dials?

Can't remember what Sierra dials look like so not sure it would work but I used the whole cluster from a Mk2 Escort and cut a mask in the dash
so it looked like separate dials, then fitted ali bezels that I turned on a lathe.
I'm pleased with the result and the cost was about zero.
And if I could remember how to post a picture I would! There's one in my archive called Dash

Hi I had suggested a similar idea. I once done the same as you using a Capri cluster.
I couldn't find the picture in your archive.

Rally Design's own brand instruments (branded
RMD) are actually made by Caerbont and are good value.

Full sets of Westfield VDO gauges often come up on Ebay as the owners upgrade. I bought a set in very good condition for about £70. I might even get
round to making a new dash and fitting them one day.
