Tiger R6 - wheel opinions

So, the Team dynamics are my current wheels but I just bought the TSRs as pictured.

They are only to be a track day wheel but I was contemplating painting them black.

Thoughts?

Personally I'm a fan of black wheels - according to my 10 year old son they're faster

Go Anthracite, I have just painted my TD wheels and they look great. what ever you do spend time cleaning, sanding, re cleaning, de greasing. i spent a good 2 hrs per wheel on prep. couple of coats of primer, 3 paint, 3 clearcoat.

Very true - paint is only ever as good as the prep you put in beforehand.

Personally I'd have them blast cleaned and powder coated to achieve good VFM and finish.

When I say 'I' in this instance I mean my local paint shop. They have done me very good rates in the past.

Random question...is your road bike on a rolling road or just happens to be lent against the wall?

I have my bike on a rolling road and enjoy it greatly. The hardest thing is the sweat that pours off you due to the lack of wind rush to dry it off you.

It's sat on the turbo trainer currently, you can probably make out the fan just infront of it!In this weather I stick to MTB or CX.

So... The next opinion.

How to mount a diffuser, should they be flush, slightly proud or sticking out.

I'm not keen on it hanging out as its more likely to get knocked about. so I've tried with the the below:

Diffuser on, a few small jobs to do then it's all back ready to go. I'm off to Northampton Motorsport in a few weeks for a cam upgrade.

Roll on summer when I can use it (and have the weather to get out and sort the potholes behind my garage )

I think you need a new boot tonneau cover. I know a man who has a brand new one, gathering dust.

I do have one, it's just folded over. One of the jobs in doing is to make a boot panel so I can do away with it!
