which year sierra when quoting for parts
hi
when ordering parts from your local motor factors. what year sierra do you quote.
as i ordered some rear brake shoes and they dont match what came off.

Assuming you don't know the donor year, at least tell us what year you ordered that was wrong...

There were more than one type of shoe for sierras
Engine size/ year/ saloon/estate
Measure your drum diameter and shoe thickness

What they said - its engine size and spec that matters more than age when it comes to brakes

I have a list of VRMs which I use depending on what parts I need as most places need a reg number when ordering parts. Sierra for gearbox and diff.
Mk3 Escort front discs for my rear discs. Hyundai Applaud rear calipers. Mondeo front brakes. Peugeot 406 Coupe engine, etc..... I picked appropriate
details from EBay motors.....
