Alternative Avon bodywork

Evening all. I bought a road registered Zetec-powered Avon that has spent the last few years being used for track days.
Mechanically it's got the best parts available, but the body has most definitely seen better days and could use replacement.
I've spoken to Laura at Tiger about new factory bodywork, but the price got me thinking about alternatives.

Has anyone ever tried to fit one of these? Do you think it could work? Cheers!

I had similar thoughts with a fiberglass mk1 escort shell ( escort ) with the Striker sharing the same wheelbase and track.
That was until someone pointed out I'd be sat somewhere between the backseat and the boot.....

There was a guy did it to a robin hood 2b, although I think it took quite a bit to make the bodywork to fit. There was a full build thread on rodsnsods if i remember correctly

There was a 32B roadster (with Jag V12 power) at a DAX open day a few years ago.
It looked HUGE compared to the DAX rushes and even the DAX Cobras.

I seem to remember a UK company offering 2/3 scale 32B kits based on Cortina running gear a few years back.
Anyone remember them?
