mirror nuts
hi all i have got the tiger chrome mirrors but they did not come with nuts for fixing .
i do not have any spare nuts in the garage and i have been to the local hardware shop but now luck . dose anyone know the size i need. only need 2
nuts has anyone got any spare thks........

They are usually M8 or M10... but who knows with Tiger?
Take a mirror to B&Q they have quite a wide range on Sundays! (Other days they take 'em all away! )

I think they are Metric fine, (M10 rings a bell).
Some people I know have unscrewed the bit arrowed (badly) and used that.

little tip with the nut you have arrowed .get one of the sva type nut covers put a suitable hole in it and put it on the mirror arm first ,then when
you fit the mirror you can slide the nut cover over the nut and its extra sva friendly.

You're better doing what Northy suggested and unscrew the bottom mount and use it on the inside of the scuttle to hold the mirror in place - a
lot neater and no cover needed.
