High back seats for Supercat??
Hi guys, I'm new here,
I've just bought a Tiger Supercat that needs some prep to be SVA'd but I don't like the low back seats in it.
Does anyone know of some high back seats that will fit?
I've seen some by Cobra (the roadster 7's I think) but not sure if they'll fit.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Steve,
If its a Cat E1 xtra large then Cobra 7's wont fit. If you check the outboard of each seat you will probably see a curved fibreglass moulding
that cover the rear subframe bushes. In Tiger speak they are called pig ear!! These limit you to the type of seat. the best bet is a set from Intatrim
in telford as they will make a cut out in the shell for the pig ears. The Oddesey or the like should do you, only problem is they dont have a web
site. I am going over either late this week or early next and am hoping to actually see my seats being made. If all works out i will be posting an
article on the new Tiger Owners Club web site (which i run) check us out at: www.tigerownersclub.co.uk, we dont bite.....much

Problem is, the Cat uses the Complete Sierra rear end and the suspension mounts protrude into the cockpit (known as the pig's ears)
Hence the seats have to be modified by having cut-outs to accomodate them.
A lot of Cat owners go fo Intatrim Odysseys (narrow high-back) or Voyagers (narrow low-back) as, provided you tell them, will supply the seats with
the appropriate cut-out. They are also very reasonably priced.
If you want to know what they look like, have a look in Northy's or lightning's photo archives on this forum.
Hope that helps,
Andy.

Yep I bought the Tiger with fancy graphics and the V6 poking through the bonnet!
As for SVA, I am having a cowling made to cover the engine that I might somehow "misplace" after the test!
Oh and - hell yeah, it definately does go!!
P.S. Its a Cologne V6 not an Essex
