rad pluming
hi i am trying to plumb in the rad i have a pinto and a polo rad in place i have got 3 flexi hose pipes 2 for the rab and 1 for the
water pump the top 1 one fits ok the problem is joining up the bottom hose to the one from the water pump i know i need some metal pipping to join
together
hase anyone done this and if so have you got some pictures plz......

You've got exactly the same setup as me ! I haven't connected up yet so I'm not much use ! I'll be keen to see your solution

im at exactly the same stage, and seems that there is very little help when it comes to plumbing these cars. i keep going round in circles!
is it necessary to have a header tank? just wondering.

I used some stainless tube, donated by a local fabrication company.
I also had to make a bracket/clamp fitted to the steering rack to keep the hose in the right place and stop it toucking the fan belt and steering
column.
Hope that helps, let me know if you want more pics/info as I found this part a right pain, so I know what it's like.
