Avon Windscreen
Have many builders on here fitted a windscreen to their Avon?
Did you use the Tiger one?
Was it tall enough?
Did it go together ok?
Any idea of price?
I'm thinking of fitting a windscreen and side screens.
Cheers

Graham,
I fiited the standard Tiger windscreen to my AVON but took it off for SVA.
How tall are you, I am 6'2" and have fitted Intatrim 'Ranger' seats which raise you slightly higher in the car than the Tiger
pad effort.
When sitting in the car I am looking over the top of the screen but having now driven the car without the screen it still does seem to work well.
I did ask Jim at tiger aboult a taller screen and he said that they could produce the components for a tall screen for very little extra cost if I
required. IMHO having seen an avon fitted with a taller screen I did not much like the look if it.
To be honest, I think the most difficult part of fitting the screen is bending the upright supports to form the correct shape around the scuttle.
Cheers!

This guy - (don't know his name but met him at Donny last year) - bought the screen frame from Tiger but asked them to cut it a bit longer and
then got a local windscreen place to cut a screen to fit (IIRC he made a wood/card template for them)
It makes the screen a little higher so that it he can actually see out of it rather than over it, and it doesn't look too odd.....
He had the same problem i face - we are both over 6' tall!

That doesn't look too bad does it. I'm going to try a standard screen first.
WTF is the rollbar made from on the Yellow Cat though! I would like to trust that with my life!
