Fuel Tank for Avon

Can anyone help please. My Tiger Supplied tank fits as per the picture with the welded brackets. Is it me or have I the wrong tank. Also the the feed
and return pipes foul the diagonal rear strut.
I have also supplied a picture with the bottom of the htank parallel with the botton of the chasis which is what the book shows.

I think they've given you the wrong tank, it should sit like the bottom picture.

Just cut the mounting tabs off and make up some straps to mount it how you need....
It's generally agreed on here that it's better to mount the tank with straps padded with rubber anyway. There is a worry that the welded
mounting lugs will lead to cracking.....

hi Ian did you find a solution. I have the same problem and would much appreciate any advice. Think its down to using the injection tank as
there's not enough clearance for pick up and return stubs
