Quaife Steering Rack

I'm after a steering rack to fit in my Avon. As I'm at the start of the build I've been looking around and seem to be able to get an Escort Mk II rack for around 40 quid.
Quaife seem to do a quck rack for 60 quid (Price from Demon Tweeks)

Anyone any experience, comments? There are a couple of different types, I know I'll need the RHD model, but long or short? Also, will a 2.2 be a ok, or could it be a bit *to* quick?

I think you'll find the Quaife unit is supplied as a kit, requiring a standard casing to put it in.
You only get the rack and pinion.

PS 2.2 turns is ok on a Locost, Rob Lane did this and never looked back (looked sideways a bit though!!)
