redtop
exhaust manifold is from a caterham hpc and the silencer is a standard westfield 5.5 inch item, both ebay finds. As regards fitting the engine i had
no major headaches other than getting the clutch slave in the vx omega box to work with the redtop flywheel / clutch assy. Only other points worth
noting is to get the engine as high as possible to get a reasonable ground clearance, my cam cover just touches the underside of the nose cone and if
you use carbs 40 / 45s you may have to cut the engine cover to clear the carb tops. hope this is of help and good luck. best regards Martin.

Thanks for that .You were luky to find both the exhaust parts on ebay.
Ill keep looking.
I spoke to Yukspeed re gearbox and they do all the clutch parts to mate to the type 9 box.
probably going to use bike carbs.
