Will the Mk1 escort rack fit the avon? somewhere in the back of my mind i think someone told me it had to be Mk2?
Can anyone held/confirm the differance for me
Thanks Paul

I believe Mk1 is imperial threads, Mk 2 is metric, otherwise the same, so shouldn't be a problem if you have the correct track rod ends.

the main diffrence is as stated above diffrent threads
but the only reason this becomes a concern is mateing up corret tapers on the tre to the steering arm
however it is possible just got to find the correct track rod ends
mk2 racks are easier to find the track rod ends for

Thanks for the help, probably easier just to buy a Mk2 rack then. Does anyone know what the ratio on the tiger quickrack is? as i have been told
it's £60 which seems quite cheap for a quickrack to me but i want one somewhere in the region of 2.4 turns lock to lock.
Thanks

Yep - ends needs extending and come ready done by Tiger.
Not sure on the ratio of their rack, but it was fine for me on road and track.
