Front light/cycle wing clearance

Do the chassis from Tiger come with the headlight brackets pre-drilled? (I bought my kit s/h part-built and they were already drilled)
Reason I ask is, I fitted the front cycle wings this week, but noticed on a (ahem) 'test drive' around the block, that the inner edges of the cycle wings foul the headlights well before full lock on the steering.
I've fitted smaller, 5 3/4" headlights so should have a greater clearance between wing and standard 7" headlights, so I'm surprised I get this problem.
Admittedly I haven't fitted Tiger's wing stays, but those as used by Stuart Taylor etc. for Cortina uprights.
I only have a gap of around 5-8 mm between stays and tyre and gap of around 20 - 25mm between wing and headlight with steering in 'straight ahead' position.
wheels are et38 offset.
Have other Avon owners encountered the same problem?
Only solutions/options I can think of is drill new mounting holes further inboard on headlight brackets, or fit front wheels with a bigger offset (say et22 or below) or fit wheel spacers and yet longer wheel studs to effectively further offset the wheels.

Andy.

Id ignore the holes and position the lights to fit sva guidelines and so they don’t hit the wings maybe if you move them so they are in the middle of the wheel arch so that they don’t get hit when the wheel is turned?

And then cut them short nearly up to the hole.

They'll probably need raising as well.

I've had the same problem, raised the lights as high as possible.
I also have the smaller headlights.

I used 7" Lights, had to raise them up as much as possible and also had to cut the cycle wings a bit more near the light to give more clearance.

I've already used spacers to raise the headlamps as high as the threaded stems allow.
Can just get the min. 500mm height required for SVA. (This was further compounded by the fact that I've fitted shorter shocks to enable lower 'bones to sit parallel to floor and hence my Avon sits very low indeed.)
I'll redrill the holes and move lights further inboard...Just bloody annoying if the brackets come pre-drilled from the factory!!?

Light clearence

Simple to answer this.

Contact tiger and ask for a pait of super six suspension brackets, have them on my car, not on the avtar pic, which I must reduce

You lot got me worried so measured mine last night...

The base of the lens of my 5 3/4" lights is at 515mm

I guess that's a useful side effect of fitting 205/45/16s on the front
