Zetec Thermostat housing

Hi everyone ,

Off the top of your heads does anyone know the thread size on the thermostat housing on a 2.0L zetec blacktop for the temp sensor . Not the lower one , the top one ?

Thats the cooling fan switch one in case it helps.

I thought the blacktop had a plastic thermostat housing with "clip in" sensors.
One is for the ECU and the other for the Temp guage. Niether on the themostat housing are for the rad fan.

On the mondeo (bakelite) housing the top one is rad fan.

The focus thermostat housing (plastic one) doesn't have a top sensor and has a CHT for coolant temp, so I believe he must have a mondeo housing.

That said, given that people tend to swap these things around all over the place (I run a mondeo stat housing on my Focus for a proper CTS as I had plans for Megasquirt/Omex) what he has could be any number of things.

There are at least 3 different versions of that housing.
