Mounting Avon Wiper Motor
A friend of mine is stuck with how to mount the Avon Motor. He's done the wiper rack tubes and boxes, but is confused by how the motor sits.
Anyone got a photo????

pic of wiper motor fitted
There should be a `U` shaped bracket that fits around the wiper motor body which is then simply held in place with a short bolt each end through the
scuttle bulkhead. The attached pic is off my own Tiger Cat before I slipped on the tubes. On mine the motor is fitted on the passenger side of the
scutle. Small tip - you can change the direction the wipers park by rotating the wheel boxes 180 degrees! Hope this helps your friend.

Snippy- have you used the proper bundy outer tube or are you just using the inner tube and not bothering with an outer????
I mounted mine on a welded up mount (there's a rough diagram in my photo archive). I promised I'd take some photos of the mount but
haven't yet (but I will honest!!!)...
[sorry snippy, I should really learn to read before asking stupid questions!!!]

This is how I did mine:
welded up a bracket which bolts on the lower footwell rail. Bolts (with spacers to hold the bracket off the scuttle upright) at the top.
