Does mk make 2 different chassis for the cec and bec? or do you just drop the cradle in for the bec?
cos i'm looking at a part builf indy that's going the zetec route, but am planning to go bec myself.

cradle, they will supply one if you want one, they have cradle jigs for all the popular engine choices.
if its the indy you are reffering its the same chassis, you specify what bike engine you want to put in and they will add the necessary mounts to the
chassis + cradle, think the engine cradles are around £60 if i remember correctly give or take £10.
tho i do believe if you already have a chassis made for car engine then they will modify the chassis for you ofcourse at extra cost
Engine mounting cradle (fireblade) is £105.00
Gear link kit for bike engine is £95.00
Adaptor flange for bike engine is £70.00
Thanks for the replies was just checking to see no major mods were needed if I manage to get this chassis.
So i'm sure MK can sort me a cradle and the brackets I can weld on myself.
Is the gear linkage necessary or can you run via cable with the r1? though I was planning on a paddle shift anyway so I guess that's pushrod
realy.
What does Mr SVA man think of paddle shifts? are they ok?

mk are charging me 150 pounds to take iut my pinto and fit an cradle and engine, then theres the prop exchange 70 and adapter 60 and thats with out me haveing to lift a finger, quite cheap i think

I wouldn't bother with that ebay indy if i were you, better to buy the starter kit new imho.
