After getting some alloys for my tiger i had to make the wheel arches bigger to fit them as they looked like they will rub
I’ve done the right side with no trouble at all
But the left side is a right pain in the butt
There’s about 5-10mm gap and i can seem to get it to fit well at all
Now i need to butcher it off so what im looking for is if anyone else has had the some trouble also how they got over it as i have looked on the forum and most only had to open them up 5-10 out ways
Also what tool did they use to sand it all back would one of them angle grinder sander things be too vicious on it??

I cant make out from the photo what Im looking at. But for my rear arches I removed the lip entirely and then put U trip round the entier arch. I have 15" rims with 185 tyres. I think with a 45 offset. They dont rub on the arches now and I get full travel on the suspension.

i have 15" rims think the offset is 40 and i have 155 tyers

I cut and widened them as i needed to fit 17 inch rims, i think a couple of guys on here have done the same i will see if i can find some pics.

in picture 2 how did you sand it down did you use an angle grinder with one of them sander things or did you just wet and dry it?? as i was thinking of painting the arches black too

soggy this might seem like a daft questions but is you car spayed? I'd really like to have a white body with black rear arches like yours. and was thinking of having the body made white and then spraying the arches, is this ok?

Also, whats the piping between the body and arches, are the separate?

Its was sanded down with a grinder with sanding disc then i used filler to finish it off, high build primer next and painted with rattle cans.
Yes the car is sprayed its mg blue,black arches on white sounds good go for it.
The arches arent separate all i did was bond a small rubber trim in the corner, looks pretty convincing doesnt it!
