I really did think that I would be able to resist the temptation of filming my first start but, after a very long time and a few set backs, it became
such a big issue that I gave in!
Please excuse the production (and the noise as it is just running on headers at the moment) and the smoke at the end is just from the heat wrap on the
headers.
<- what a saddo, but I am still grinning!

well done, good vid
Very cool!
Thank you Whippy. I have to admit that I couldn't see what all the fuss was about with first starting the engine. Now I can!
Brilliant moment to have on video - I still watch mine from time to time...

Well, as mine has to be made I didn't want to wait any longer. I just needed to make sure it runs before I tidy up the wiring and fit the side panels. The sound on the video doesn't really do it justice and I really wouldn't want to drive it on the road without the rest of the system on even if I thought I could get away with it!
remember mine
just hooked up the battery
tryed the first start and the bugger started but the throttle stuck wide open, wow it was loud.
few neighbours looking out of windows etc but it was 11.30 pm oopppss
Can't wait till i get to that stage!
started mine in the middle of the summer. Video's it and still giggle watching it - unfortunately as it was so hot i was only wearing shorts so
its strictly private viewing.
PS. thats not starting it ..... thats just running the starter motor, get it going man, rev it a little :p
