Speedo Pickup and Calibration

We're after some advice guys....

how do we obtain an accurate reading from the speedo?
We are hoping to use the bike clocks but cannot see a way of using the speedo pick-up we have from the bike. We were looking to connect the pick-up to a Yellowbox to adjust/correct any reading.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hellfire,
My engine is a 99, and I used the yellow box. It's a good job as far as I can see. That said, I've been told that the speedo pickup on pre 97 blade engines gets in the way of the prop shaft / sprocket adaptor, so what I've seen done on my mates (pre 97) car is the clocks taken apart and a bike speedo from halfords (as mentioned by lightning) stuck in there instead. I'm not sure where he's got the pick up for it situated. It's not that neat a job, but it does work and is accurate.
There are full instructions for the yellow box HERE, if it's of any use to you. If you need any more help with it's set up give us a shout.
Good Luck
Ali
